Pet Grooming Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Gato Pet Grooming LLC. By using our website, booking an appointment online, or using our grooming services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Website Use
This website is provided for information and booking purposes only. Gato Pet Grooming LLC reserves the right to update website content, services, pricing, and policies at any time without prior notice.
2. Bookings & Appointments
Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person. Booking requests are subject to availability and confirmation. Gato Pet Grooming LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel appointments for operational or safety reasons.
3. Pet Health & Owner Responsibility
All pets must be healthy, free from contagious diseases, parasites, or open wounds. Pet owners must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, aggressive behavior, anxiety, or special handling needs prior to grooming. Vaccinations must be up to date.
4. Grooming Risks
Grooming involves inherent risks, particularly for senior pets, pets with medical conditions, behavioral issues, or poor coat condition. Minor cuts, skin irritation, stress reactions, or allergic responses may occur despite professional care.
5. Matted Coats
Severely matted coats may require shaving for the pet’s comfort and safety. Removing mats may expose skin conditions or cause temporary irritation. Additional fees may apply for excessive matting or extended grooming time.
6. Fleas, Ticks & Parasites
If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, treatment may be applied at an additional cost or the grooming service may be stopped immediately. Gato Pet Grooming LLC is not responsible for re-infestation after grooming.
7. Emergencies & Veterinary Care
In the event of an emergency, Gato Pet Grooming LLC will attempt to contact the pet owner immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, we are authorized to seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense. We are not responsible for medical costs related to pre-existing or undisclosed conditions.
8. Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged 50%–100% of the service fee. Late arrivals may result in shortened services or rescheduling.
9. Mobile Service
If the pet owner choses a mobile service, the Client agrees to provide access to parking near the location.
10. Payments & Pricing
Payment is due upon completion of grooming services. Prices may vary based on pet size, coat condition, behavior, package service chosen, and grooming time. All services are non-refundable once grooming has started.
11. Pick-Up Policy
Pets must be collected promptly after grooming. Late pick-up fees may apply after 30 minutes. Pets left beyond business hours may incur additional care or boarding fees.
12. Photos & Marketing
Photos or videos of pets may be taken for records or marketing purposes (website and social media). Owners may opt out by notifying Gato Pet Grooming LLC in writing.
13. Limitation of Liability
Gato Pet Grooming LLC is not liable for illness, injury, or death caused by pre-existing conditions, age-related issues, stress reactions, or undisclosed behavioral problems. Any liability is limited to the cost of the grooming service provided.
14. Right to Refuse Service
Gato Pet Grooming LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any pet or client for safety, hygiene, or ethical reasons.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and regulations of the Dubai Municipality concerning animal welfare and grooming services.
